Mahila Samman Savings Certificate: This government scheme is going to start for women from April 1, you will get this much money after investing two lakh rupees

The Central Government's Mahila Samman Savings Certificate Scheme is going to start on April 1, which was announced by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman while presenting the Budget 2023 in February.

Women will get good returns in this scheme. Through this scheme, the benefit of extra exemption can also be obtained under the new tax regime. Under this scheme, accounts can be opened in banks and post offices.

Under the scheme, up to Rs 2, lakh can be invested in the name of women or girls for a period of two years. On investing Rs 2 lakh for two years in this government scheme for women, a fixed interest rate of 7.5 percent per annum will be received.

In the first year, the interest of Rs 15,000 will be available on the principal amount. In the second year, Rs 16,125 will be received as interest on Rs 215,000. After two years you will get a hefty amount of Rs.231125.
