Maharashtra minister Hasan Mushrif made a defamation claim of Rs 100 crore on BJP leader Kirit Somaiya
Maharashtra Rural Development Minister Hassan Mushrif has filed a defamation case of Rs 100 crore against BJP leader Kirit Somaiya. Earlier, Shiv Sena leader Anil Parab had also filed a defamation claim of Rs 100 crore on Somaiya. Despite this, Kirit Somaiya today went to Kolhapur, the area of Hasan Mushrif, and claimed to have uncovered some more corruption cases related to him.
Kirit Somaiya reached Kolhapur on Tuesday and took blessings of Mata Mahalakshmi temple there and told the press people to present there that a monster of corruption has arisen in Maharashtra. I have come to ask Amba Mai for some power to eliminate her. Let us inform you that Somaiya had also left for Kolhapur by train on 19 September. But he was taken off the train on the way. Then the District Magistrate of Kolhapur, giving information about the enforcement of prohibitory orders in the district, had given notice of their ban in Kolhapur.
On September 27, when the District Magistrate of Kolhapur informed him about the removal of the entry ban, Kirit Somaiya had tweeted that – Jhunkhti hai world, Jhunkhone hai. Eventually, the Thackeray-Pawar government had to bow down. My entry ban in Kolhapur is over. The very next day, i.e. today, Kirit again made plans to go to Kolhapur. He claims that he is the one to expose Hasan Mushrif's corruption worth more than 1500 crores.
On the other hand, NCP leader Hasan Mushrif today filed a defamation claim of Rs 100 crore on Kirit Somaiya. It was only after the earlier allegations leveled against him by Kirit Somaiya that Mushrif had said that if Somaiya did not withdraw his charges, he would file a defamation claim against him.
Mushrif says that in the past, after the allegations of corruption of Rs 100 crore on former Home Minister Anil Deshmukh, he had opposed the central agencies very vocally. Due to which such allegations are being leveled against him by the BJP. About a dozen leaders and ministers of the Maha Vikas Aghadi government, including Kirit Somaiya Hasan Mushrif, have been accused of corruption. One of them is Transport Minister Anil Parab. He is being questioned by the Enforcement Directorate today. He too has filed a defamation claim of 100 crores on Kirit Somaiya last week.
