Big news has come out in the Mahalakshmi murder case that happened in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The murderer Mukti Ranjan Roy has certainly committed suicide. But he had no intention of committing suicide. He had made a foolproof plan for the next three months. He had also made preparations on where and how to dispose of the 59 pieces of Mahalakshmi's body. He was going to remain quiet for three months. Then after that, he was to dispose of the pieces. This revelation has been made by the murderer's brother himself.
On September 2 at 2 am, Mukti Ranjan murdered saleswoman Mahalakshmi in Vayalikaval. The murderer then chopped Mahalakshmi's body into 59 pieces, put them in the fridge, and fled from there. The flat remained closed for many days, so no one had any idea that such a crime had happened there. Later on September 21, when a foul smell started coming from the flat, the neighbors informed Mahalakshmi's mother about this.
When the mother of the deceased came there, it was revealed that Mahalakshmi had been murdered. But there was no information about the murderer. When the police started the investigation, first Mahalakshmi's husband Hemant was suspected. After that, the needle of suspicion also turned to a man named Ashraf. But neither of them had anything to do with this case. When the police confirmed this, the scope of the investigation was expanded. The investigation was carried out closely day and night. This hard work of the police paid off and the murderer was found.
Before the police could reach him, the murderer committed suicide by hanging himself in a cemetery in Bhadrak, Odisha on 25 September. But he did not want to commit suicide. Mukti Ranjan Roy's brother Satya told the police - Mukti was staying with me for the last 9 days. He then confessed that he had killed Mahalakshmi. After two to three months, he will slowly dispose of the pieces of her body. This way no one will know anything.

But when the police came to know everything about Mukti, he got scared. Lest the police reach him, Mukti left his brother's house on 25th September without saying anything. He took his laptop and diary along with him. It was morning time. He left his brother's house on his father's scooter. There was a cemetery three kilometers away. He stopped the scooter there. Then he went inside and tied a noose to a tree. Then he hanged himself and died.
Later, people who came to the cemetery informed the police about this. At first, it was not known who this person was and why he committed suicide. But by night, it was also known. Odisha Police then informed Bengaluru Police about this. At present, further action is going on in this case.
