KVS Admission 2025: Applications for admission in Kendriya Vidyalayas start today, know when the first list will come

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has started the registration process for admission in Balvatika 1, 3, and Class 1 from today i.e. 7 March 2025. KVS had recently issued a notification and informed that the application process will start from 10 am on March 7. All parents and guardians who want to get their child admitted to Kendriya Vidyalayas can apply by visiting the official website of KVS kvsangathan.nic.in. The application window will remain open till 10 pm on March 21.
According to KVS, the provisional list of students selected and waitlisted for class 1 will be announced on March 25, while the list for Bal Vatika-1 and 3 will be released on March 26. After this, the second provisional list will be released on April 2 and the third list on April 7, 2025.
Age limit for admission
According to the official notification, the child should be at least 6 years old for admission in class 1, while the age limit for Bal Vatika-1, 2, and 3 should be 3 to 4 years, 4 to 5 years, and 5 to 6 years respectively. The age calculation for all classes will be based on March 31, 2025, and reservation of seats will be as per KVS Admission Guidelines 2025-26.
Registration for class 2 will start from April 2
The registration process for new admissions in classes 2 and above (except class 11) in Balvatika-2 and 3 (where online admissions are not being done) will start at 10 am on April 2 and will continue till 4 pm on April 11, 2025. If seats remain vacant, they will be filled only in offline mode and for this the application form has to be submitted in the office of the Principal in the concerned Kendriya Vidyalaya. Admission in Balvatika 2 and classes after class 2 will be done from April 18 to April 21 and the last date for admission for all classes except class 11 has been fixed as June 30, 2025.
Where will the list be released?
The official notice said, 'The list of registered children, list of eligible children, category wise list of provisionally selected children, waiting list and subsequent list will be mandatorily released on the website of the respective Kendriya Vidyalayas and also on social media handles like Facebook, X (Twitter). Apart from this, this list will also be pasted on the notice board of the schools.
