Knife attack in Jabalpur school campus, 8th class student stabbed 9th class student!
A bloody fight broke out between two school students in Shahpura, a rural area about 45 km from Jabalpur district headquarters, and one student died in this fight. After this, the local people caught the accused student and handed him over to the police. The police, who arrived at the information, conducted Panchnama proceedings handed over the body to the family members, and started investigating the case.
According to Shahpura police, in Natwara village under Shahpura police station of Jabalpur, an eighth-class student attacked a ninth-class student with a knife. The injured student in this attack was first taken to Shahpura Hospital in a bloody condition, where the doctors referred the student to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical Hospital in Jabalpur, where the doctors declared the student dead during the checkup.
According to the police, the 14-year-old accused student studying in class 8 in Middle School Natwara was having a dispute with 15-year-old Rohit Chakraborty studying in class 9 in High School Shahpura over some issue. Last Thursday evening, both of them abused each other over some issue on the phone, after which this morning when Rohit was going to Shahpura school, the minor stopped him outside the middle school and attacked him with a knife.
The accused student was handed over to the police.
In this attack, Rohit suffered serious injuries in his stomach and intestines. People present at the scene picked him up and took him to Shahpura Health Center and then from there the doctor referred him to the medical hospital. Rohit died during treatment in the medical hospital. Although the accused was trying to escape after committing the crime, the villagers caught hold of the accused and tied the hands of the minor in a rickshaw took him to the police station, and handed him over to the police.
School management accused of negligence
The family members allege that this entire incident happened due to the negligence of the school management. The children studying in the school keep roaming around because the teachers neither come nor leave on time. The family members say that the accused student kept roaming in the school with a knife, but no one even questioned him about the knife. The police conducted the Panchnama proceedings, got the post-mortem done, and handed over the body to the family members. At present, the police are interrogating the minor accused.
