In Jammu and Kashmir, a 'Peer Baba' sexually abused young children for more than a decade in the name of curing their diseases. He made a dozen children his victims. He also threatened the children who exposed his activities. Now the court has declared him guilty.

A court in Sopore, Jammu and Kashmir, on Monday (17 February 2025) convicted this 'Peer Baba'. The real name of this Peer Baba is Ejaz Ahmed Sheikh. He can be sentenced to up to 10 years in this case. His crime was revealed in 2016.

A child who was a victim of sexual harassment by Ejaz Ahmed told his father about his misdeeds. The child said that Ejaz Ahmed used to continuously commit unnatural sexual abuse on him in the name of religious guidance. If the child refused, he used to threaten them.

After this, a police case was filed against Ejaz Ahmed. After this, the truth about 'Peer Baba' Ejaz was revealed. About a dozen more children made similar allegations against him. It was revealed that Ejaz Ahmed deceived the children by promising them a meeting with Jinn and made them victims of his lust.

One victim said that she was sexually abused more than 500 times in a year . Another victim said that Ejaz Ahmed used to ask children to have sex with each other. Even 10-year-old children were sexually abused.

Many of these children have now become adults. Ejaz Sheikh constantly threatened these children that if they disclosed the sexual abuse to anyone, their lives would be ruined. He also instilled in them the fear of religion.

Ejaz Ahmed threatened the families of the victims even after the case was registered. He said that all the families who have accused him will suffer. However, the families of the victims continued to fight the case against him. During this time, the court also heard the story from those victim children.

In the court, Ejaz Ahmed claimed that he was framed due to a money dispute. Ejaz Ahmed also relied on the fact that the FIR was lodged late. However, the court refused to accept his arguments.

The court said, "He forced the victims to have unnatural sex while they were minors, taking advantage of their weakness under the guise of giving blessings." The court said that Ejaz Ahmed brought shame to these children by sexually assaulting them eight times. The court has now convicted him in the case of sexual abuse of children .
