The incident took place in the Machhli Shahar Kotwali police station area of ​​Jaunpur on September 16 afternoon. According to the police, a procession of Barawafaat was taken out here on September 16. Hundreds of people participated in this procession. It is alleged that some bikers joined the procession with the Palestine flag in their hands and raised anti-national slogans. Someone present in the procession captured the entire incident on his mobile camera and uploaded it on social media after the procession ended.

After this, many people shared this video by tagging it with Jaunpur police. This video went viral on social media in no time. Now Jaunpur police have taken cognizance of this video and started investigating the matter. According to Machhlishahr's Area Officer Girendra Kumar Singh, the accused have been identified along with verifying the video.

Now the raids have been intensified to arrest the accused. He said that action is being taken against the accused under the sections of sedition.
