Jagdeep Singh founded a company named QuantumScape in 2010. This company works on new-generation solid-state batteries. Jagdeep Singh's visionary thinking and leadership brought fame to the company, in which industry giants like Volkswagen and Bill Gates trusted him and also invested money.

Prior to QuantumScape, Jagdeep Singh held key roles in various companies for over 10 years. This gave him an opportunity to deeply understand emerging technologies. His education was also excellent. He completed his B.Tech from Stanford University and MBA from the University of California and proved his mettle.

Jagdeep Singh's salary package was extraordinary. It included stock options worth Rs 19,000 crore (about $2.3 billion). This package was given in view of his personal achievements and his contribution to the growth of QuantumScape. On February 16, 2024, Singh resigned as CEO of QuantumScape and handed over the reins of the company to Siva Sivaram.

Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google's parent company Alphabet, is also counted in the list of highest-paid CEOs. He joined Google in 2004. According to the data of April 2023, his annual salary is Rs 1663 crore. Apart from salary, he also gets many allowances. Including all these, he gets about Rs 1854 crore. On a daily basis, it amounts to Rs 5 crore.
