Indian Railways: Indian Railways took this big step for disabled persons and their attendants, travel will be easy

A major step has been taken by the Indian Railways for the differently-abled persons and their attendants. With this step of the Railways, it will be easier for these people to travel in the train.

According to reports, to ensure comfortable travel for differently-abled people, Indian Railways has now taken the step of earmarking berths for them and their attendants in mail and express trains.

Four berths (two lower and two middle) in sleeper class, two berths (one lower and one middle) in AC 3, two berths in 3E class (one lower and one middle) now under Railway Board orders for differently-abled persons and their attendants. 

This step of the Railways will make it easier for physically challenged people and their attendants to travel. A similar facility is already being provided to elderly and women traveling alone or with small children.
