Former Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore has given a big statement regarding the controversial remarks given by Congress state in-charge in Rajasthan Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa on Sunday on giving Bharat Ratna to veteran BJP leader LK Advani. Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa had said that Bharat Ratna is given to dead people.

On this, Rajendra Rathore said through social media that the controversial comment made by Congress state in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa on the announcement of awarding Bharat Ratna to Lal Krishna Advani is extremely unfortunate and shameful.

Randhawa ji, Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi had created the unique record of honoring themselves with Bharat Ratna while holding the post of Prime Minister; they were alive then, right? Do you have any doubt about this? How did you forget the history of Nehru and Indira Gandhi?

Awarding Bharat Ratna to oneself was possible only during the Congress rule which has now ended. Such comments regarding Bharat Ratna, the country's highest civilian award, demonstrate the falling standards and poor mentality of the Congress Party.
