Then tied her to a tree with a rope. There also they beat the mother first. Then sprinkled petrol on her and set her on fire. The mother kept screaming and shouting. But the two sons became spectators and kept watching their mother's death. They did not have any mercy on their mother. The mother died in front of their eyes.

After this, the accused brothers came home. They started resting there. When the police got information about this, they reached the spot and took the body into their custody. After that, the body of the elderly woman was sent for post-mortem. The police have arrested both the accused brothers. At present, the investigation of the case is going on. The case is of Champaknagar police station area of ​​​​West Tripura. Here in Khamarbari, a 62-year-old elderly woman lived with her two sons. Her husband died last year.

The woman also has another son. He lives in Agartala. Late on Saturday night, the elderly woman had an argument with her two sons over something. The sons together started beating their mother. Then they dragged her out of the house. It was nighttime at that time. Due to darkness, no one could get a clue of this. The sons tied the elderly mother to a tree. They beat her brutally again and set her on fire by sprinkling petrol on her.

The old mother kept begging the sons for mercy. But they did not have any mercy on the mother. Hearing the woman's screams, the people nearby gathered. They extinguished the fire. But by then the old woman had died. When the villagers asked the sons about this act, they went to their house without saying anything. After this, the police reached the spot. They took the body in their custody and sent it for postmortem. Both the accused brothers were also arrested. The surprising thing was that both the accused were sleeping comfortably at home after committing such a big crime. At present, their interrogation is going on. The police said that today i.e. on Monday, both the accused will be presented in court.
