A prisoner lodged in a Bihar jail married his girlfriend in a temple located in the court premises. Apart from the families of both, lawyers and police were present as witnesses in the marriage. After the marriage, the prisoner was again sent to the local district jail. The case is from the Siwan district.

The prisoner who got married is a resident of Dudhra village in the Goreyakothi police station area. His name is Hareram Singh. Whereas, his girlfriend is also a resident of the same village. A large crowd was present to see this unique marriage that took place in the court premises.

It is being told that Hareram Singh and his girlfriend had an affair for many years. Both loved each other immensely, but their families were unhappy with this affair. When both decided to live together, the family filed a case against Hareram Singh for forcibly kidnapping the girl.

The police took immediate action recovered both of them and sent the accused in the FIR, Hareram Singh, to jail. The case was going on in the court. Here on Monday, the prisoner Hareram Singh reached the court of First Class Judicial Magistrate Kamlesh Kumar Singh for a hearing. After appearing in court for the hearing, the judge heard the arguments of the lawyers of both sides.

Then, due to the consent of both parties, the first-class judicial magistrate ordered that the marriage be conducted with their consent. After this order, the prisoner was brought to the temple, where the girl was already present, within an hour both of them were married according to Hindu customs and the court was also informed about it, after which the young man was sent back to jail. This type of marriage was discussed throughout the day in the court premises and the city.
