In Gumla, a minor girl was gang-raped in a hotel on the pretext of a birthday party. The police have arrested two accused and the search for the rest is on.

Gumla News Gangrape: A case of gangrape of a ninth-class student on the pretext of a birthday party in a hotel in Gumla, Jharkhand has come to light. In this case, the police arrested two accused Rohit and Rahul Bara on Saturday. The police are conducting raids in search of the three accused Akash Kujur, Aman Toppo and Anand Kujur. All the accused are residents of Chainpur.

The student was taken to the hotel and gang-raped

According to the complaint lodged in Chainpur police station, Tuesday was Akash Kujur's birthday. Akash and his friends took the student and her friend to Gumla in a four-wheeler on the pretext of a birthday party. There they rented a hotel. After this, Akash, Aman and Rahul raped her, while her friend went to another room with Rohit.

Kept in the house overnight after gang rape

After the rape, Akash took the student to his house and kept her with him all night. On Wednesday, after much pleading, he released the student. The victim reached home and informed her family about this, and then the family reached Chainpur police station on Thursday and complained. Gumla SP Shambhu Singh said that two accused have been arrested in the case and three will be arrested soon.
