The police arrived at the information took the body into custody and sent it to the post-mortem house. The family is in mourning after the incident. An FIR has been registered in this regard at the city's Eentkhedi police station. The deceased's mother told the police that her daughter was sexually harassed by a boy, due to which she had to take this step. The police said that the boy who is being accused is also a minor.

Police said that no suicide note was recovered from the spot. However, it has come to light that she was sexually assaulted by a boy living near her house. Police have handed over the body to the family after postmortem and are recording the detailed statement of the family.

The teenager had complained to her mother about the incident while returning from the market

According to the police, the 14-year-old girl had consumed pesticide kept in the house. When her condition deteriorated, the family came to know about it and took her to the hospital where she died during treatment. According to the family, the girl had gone out of the house on Friday and after returning home, she told her mother about the harassment being done by a neighbouring youth. The mother says that before she could take any action, her daughter consumed pesticide. Due to this, her condition started deteriorating. She was rushed to the hospital but her life could not be saved.

The mother confirmed the cause of death in front of the police

Police said her mother confirmed on Sunday evening that her daughter was sexually assaulted. Police said a youth grabbed her hand on the way and molested her, following which she ran home and narrated the incident to her mother. She then committed suicide by consuming poison.
