Impact of the news: Case registered against uncle accused of raping niece, victim had complained of rape after tying her hands and legs

Police has registered a case under relevant sections against the uncle accused of raping his niece in a village of Patti Kotwali area. Now the police has started further action in this case.

A teenager from a village in the Kotwali area has given a complaint to the police alleging that her mother had gone to her maternal home on the day of Raksha Bandhan. Meanwhile, her uncle tied her hands and legs and raped her at around 1 o'clock in the night.

On the basis of the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case against the accused uncle under rape and other related sections and have started further action. Police Inspector Alok Kumar says that on the basis of the complaint, a case has been registered and investigation is being carried out.
