Weather Report: The residents of the capital got relief from the heat due to the sudden change in the weather and rain in many areas on Wednesday evening. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light to moderate rain and strong winds at the speed of 30 to 40 km per hour in different parts of Delhi and adjoining areas during the next two hours.

The maximum temperature in the capital was 44 degrees Celsius

According to the IMD, the maximum temperature in the capital was recorded at 44 degrees Celsius, which is four degrees above normal. The relative humidity on Wednesday was between 22 and 33 percent. The minimum temperature in the national capital was recorded at 31 degrees Celsius, which is three degrees above normal. 

What did the Meteorological Department say

The maximum temperature in Delhi's Najafgarh was recorded at 46.4 degrees, Narela at 46.3 degrees, Aya Nagar at 45 degrees, Ridge at 44.3 degrees, and Palam at 44.4 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department has forecast partly cloudy skies, light rain with thunderstorms, and strong winds at a speed of 30 to 40 kmph on Thursday. The maximum and minimum temperatures on Thursday may remain up to 42 and 30 degrees Celsius respectively.

Rajasthan: Mercury crosses 40 degrees in most parts

In most parts of Rajasthan, maximum temperature was recorded above 40 degrees Celsius on Wednesday. Dholpur recorded the highest temperature at 45.4 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department gave this information on Wednesday. According to the Meteorological Department, the effect of the heat wave was seen at some places in Bharatpur division. The maximum temperature was recorded at 45.4 degrees Celsius in Dholpur, 44.7 degrees in Pilani, 44.4 degrees in Sri Ganganagar, 44.3 degrees in Kota, 44.2 degrees in Vanasthali, 44 degrees in Alwar, 43.8 degrees in Churu, 43.4 degrees in Chittorgarh.
