Kanpur News: ACP Mohsin's troubles will increase in the case of sexual exploitation of a PhD student of IIT Kanpur. In fact, the student's statement has been recorded in the court, in which the victim is firm on her statements. The student has reiterated what she wrote in the FIR. At the same time, the ACP is seen in the CCTV footage of the hostel.

The troubles of ACP Mohammad Mohsin Khan, who is accused of sexually exploiting a PhD student of IIT Kanpur on the pretext of marriage, are set to increase. The PhD student who made the allegation recorded her statement in court on Monday. In the statement, the student repeated almost all the allegations that she had made in her FIR and statement given to the police.

After the student's statement was recorded, the investigating officer of the case and the head of the SIT, ADCP Traffic Archana Singh, read out those statements of about fifteen pages in detail in the court till late evening. Now it is believed that the police may arrest her soon. According to the information, at around 11:30 am, the SIT headed by ADCP Traffic brought the victim student to the court amid heavy security.

The student faltered while taking Mohsin's name

The recording of statements started in the courtroom at 11:35 am. Statements were recorded till 4:35 pm. In five and a half hours, the sexual abuse victim student recorded her statement in detail. During this, she got irritated many times. She drank water many times and while giving the statement, she faltered many times while taking Mohsin's name. After the recording of the statement, it is believed that the police may arrest Mohsin soon.

The allegations were found to be true to some extent in the investigation

Let us tell you, that the student had complained to the IIT administration against ACP Mohsin eight days ago. The IIT administration had conducted an internal investigation of the matter. When the allegations were found to be true to some extent in the investigation, the Police Commissioner was informed about it. It is said that after this the student gave a complaint to the Kalyanpur police and the case was registered and an investigation was started.

Mohsin was seen in CCTV footage, and entries found in registers as well

Along with the student sticking to her statement in court, the police trying to collect evidence have also started getting evidence. Mohsin is seen in the CCTV camera footage taken from IIT around the hostel. In some places, both are seen together. Also, evidence of their entering and exiting the campus has been found at various entry points of IIT. Officials say that statements of some more employees are yet to be recorded. Now, evidence will also be collected from those places where Mohsin and the student went together.

The truth came out on November 27

The victim student told the police that while she was close to Mohsin some of her fellow students asked her to keep a distance citing his age. However, Mohsin had impressed her so much with his words that she did not understand what anyone else said. Even after the lie was caught, she kept hoping when he talked about getting married after a divorce, but when his wife said that she would not give a divorce and would marry someone else, she was shaken. Meanwhile, on November 27, when Mohsin became a father, the truth came out.

The student said that even after hundreds of audio conversations with the ACP

were found in my possession, the ACP convinced the student. The student also believed his words to some extent, but when she came to know that he was trying to show himself as innocent by calling her a psycho, she was shaken. She said that she has hundreds of audio videos of conversations with the ACP. There is also WhatsApp chatting which will prove what Mohsin said to her and how many false promises he made.

A woman pursuing PhD from IIT filed a case against ACP Cyber ​​Crime and Collectorganj Mohammad Mohsin Khan in Kalyanpur police station on Thursday accusing him of sexually exploiting her on the pretext of marriage. The top officials have handed over the investigation of the case to the Special Investigation Team (SIT) headed by ADCP Traffic Archana Singh. Also, Mohsin has been attached to the Police Headquarters in Lucknow. Originally from Lucknow, Mohsin Khan is a 2013 batch PPS officer. He was posted in Kanpur on 12 December 2023. Before the case was registered, Mohsin was also handling the responsibility of cybercrime along with ACP Collectorganj.

According to the information, in July 2024, Mohsin started his PhD in Cyber ​​Crime Investigation and Cyber ​​Criminology from IIT. During his studies, the ACP came in contact with a girl of another religion from

Jalpaiguri, West Bengal, who was doing PhD there. The girl alleges that despite being married, Mohsin increased his closeness by telling himself to be single and started having physical relations by giving the false promise of marriage.

Complained to IIT Management

When the girl came to know that Mohsin was married, she protested against it. On this Mohsin asked her to stay in the relationship by assuring her that he would marry her if he got divorced from his wife soon. Two days ago the girl contacted Mohsin's wife over the phone. Mohsin's wife said that their married life was going well. According to sources, when the girl questioned the ACP, the ACP started giving false statements about her, after which she first complained to the IIT Management.

The detailed investigation was handed over to the SIT

Then on Thursday afternoon, a complaint was lodged against the ACP at Kalyanpur police station. On receiving the complaint against his own ACP, the station in charge contacted the higher authorities and registered a case on their instructions. The officials first immediately attached the ACP to the Police Headquarters Lucknow. Then DCP South Ankita Sharma reached IIT conducted the preliminary investigation and recorded his statement. Now the detailed investigation has been handed over to the SIT led by ADCP Traffic Archana Singh.
