Illegal drugs worth Rs 2 crore were recovered from these accused. During interrogation, it was revealed that the landlord had not verified the tenants nor had he informed the concerned police station about it. After this, the police have also made the landlord an accused, and now preparations are being made to take strict action against him.

Police gave these strict instructions to the landlords

Police have received information that many criminals are living in rented houses in areas like Baldev Nagar, Ramnagar, Reico, Shivnagar, Vishnu Colony, and Shastri Nagar of Barmer. Several police actions have revealed that illegal activities are being conducted in these houses. After this, the police repeatedly instructed the landlords to get the tenants verified, but many landlords did not pay attention to it. Now the police have decided to strictly implement the verification process by making these landlords accused.

Honey trap gang and demand of 21 lakh rupees

Earlier, the Sadar police station of Barmer had exposed a honey trap gang, which was trapping a government teacher in a rented house and demanding Rs 21 lakh from him. The police took action and arrested five accused of the gang. This incident makes it clear that rented houses becoming a refuge for criminals is becoming a serious problem.

Recently, the police raided a house in Baldev Nagar and arrested eight criminals. Illegal drugs, automatic pistols, and cartridges were also recovered from here. During interrogation, it was also revealed that these criminals were doing drug business by renting houses on the pretext of studies. The police have once again appealed to the house owners to get the tenants verified so that such crimes can be controlled and security can be promoted in the city.
