A BSF jawan, who was going home on leave in Etawah, Uttar Pradesh, died under suspicious circumstances. Three days ago, the BSF jawan was injured after falling from the Rajdhani Express near the Phaphund railway station in the state police area. He died during treatment at Saifai Medical University. The GRP has handed over the body of the jawan to the family after conducting a post-mortem. The deceased's brother has filed a murder case against four unknown persons including a woman.

Railway Superintendent of Police Jhansi Vipul Srivastava has inspected the spot of the incident and has instructed him to solve the case as soon as possible. The deceased soldier had messaged his wife from inside the train that he might be murdered or he might be framed for theft. The soldier had written in the message that a woman and four people might throw him off the train. The BSF soldier is said to be a resident of Meghalaya. On Wednesday, the family left for Meghalaya with the body. Expressing apprehension of the murder of his soldier brother, the deceased's younger brother Prabhu has given a written complaint to register a case under murder against four unknown people including a woman in Etawah GRP police station.

Prabhu Pun, a resident of Lewan Khatni Hills, Meghalaya, told in a complaint lodged at the police station on August 18 that his elder brother Vishal Pun was posted in the BSF. He was posted in the Army Supply Corps in Chandigarh. On August 18, Brother Vishal was coming home on leave. He had informed me on the phone that he was coming home by train number 12424 New Delhi-Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express. Prabhu Mun said that on the same evening at 8:07 pm, a message came on his wife Sangeeta Mun's mobile from Vishal's number that a woman and four other people were going to implicate me in a theft case and they would kill me. It was also written that I suspect that these people will push me off the train.

When his wife read this message, she called her brother-in-law Prabhu Pun. Prabhu called his elder brother Vishal. But his number was not reachable. The next day on 19th August, Etawah GRP informed that his brother Vishal was found lying injured on the railway track near Phaphund railway station. He has been admitted to Saifai Medical for treatment. Hearing this, the family members came to Etawah and reached Saifai Hospital where Vishal died during treatment.

Etawah GRP station in-charge Shailesh Nigam has said that, on the complaint of the deceased's brother Prabhu Pun, GRP Etawah has registered a case under sections of intentional murder against an unknown woman and four unknown companions and has started an investigation. The case will be disclosed soon.
