The police of Penukonda police station of Sri Sathya Sai district of the state have arrested this unique thief. During interrogation, the reason given by this thief for committing theft in broad daylight is quite surprising. The thief said that he has a problem with his eyes, so he cannot see at night.
He said that he is forced to commit thefts during the day. According to Penukonda police, this thief had become a challenge not only for Andhra Pradesh but also for Telangana and Karnataka police. This thief has committed more than three dozen crimes in these three states so far. During police interrogation, this thief told that he cannot see after sunset. In such a situation, he comes out during the day and after proper recce, commits thefts.
Arrested for theft in teacher's house
The accused said that he usually chooses those houses for the crime which are locked and the family members have gone out somewhere. This thief Sohail Khan, a resident of Tumkuru in Karnataka, has been arrested on charges of theft in a teacher's house in Penukonda. In this, the accused stole 47 tolas of gold jewellery and cash worth about one lakh rupees. However, he was caught in the CCTV camera in this incident. On the basis of this footage, the police identified the accused and arrested him from his house.

When the police searched the house of the accused, a surprising revelation was made. It was revealed that the accused melts the stolen jewellery in his house and makes biscuits. After this, he sells them in Hyderabad. During police interrogation, the accused told that he learned to melt gold on YouTube and then bought the necessary materials for it online. The police have seized 350 grams of gold biscuits, tools used to break the locks of the house and a gold melting machine from the accused.
