This incident happened when this student named Mona was forced to commit suicide due to the threats of a boy. At the time of the incident, Mona was alone in her house and she hanged herself with a dupatta and took her own life. Before committing suicide, she told her sister that she was very upset with the torture of a boy, who was not leaving her alone and was threatening her.

Class 12 student commits suicide in Jaipur

Mona's family members were not at home during this tragic incident. Her father Ramawatar Jangid had gone to the furniture shop, while her mother, elder sister and younger brother were out for some work. Mona was alone at the time of the incident. When everyone went out of the house at around 12 noon, Mona hanged herself in her room. An hour later, when the family members returned, they found Mona's room locked from inside. When Mona did not respond even after knocking on the door and calling out, they broke the door with the help of neighbors and entered inside, where Mona's body was found hanging from a noose.

A case of abetment to suicide has been registered

On receiving information about the incident, Muhana police station reached the spot. The police sent the body for postmortem and inspected the spot. The deceased's father has lodged a case of abetment to suicide against a boy named Vishnu Sharma. According to Ramavatar Jangid, Vishnu Sharma was harassing Mona for the last several months. He used to sit at Shyam Dharmkanta near the house and follow Mona. Apart from this, he used to force her to talk on mobile.

Troubled by threats, he took this step

According to the deceased's elder sister Radha, Mona had told her about the torture being done by Vishnu Sharma a day before committing suicide. She also told that Vishnu had threatened her that if she did not talk to him, he would cause an accident to her father and kill her younger brother. These threats disturbed Mona so much that she decided to commit suicide.

The harassment did not stop even after explaining

Mona's father Ramavatar Jangid had tried to convince Vishnu Sharma several times. The first time Mona told the family about this harassment, Ramavatar explained to Vishnu and stopped him from doing so. However, after a few days Vishnu again started harassing Mona. The second time too when Mona told her father, he called Vishnu again and explained to him, but he did not stop. Finally, fed up with Vishnu's threats and harassment, Mona ended her life.
