Some cases get highlighted, but there are many such cases which remain limited to police stations or do not even reach there. When Atul Subhash gave up his life after getting fed up with the torture of his wife, many such cases started coming to light. Now another such case has come to light from Sambhal district. Here a man named Gaurav Kumar chose death to get rid of his wife's atrocities.

Yes, another husband fell prey to his wife's torture. It is alleged that Gaurav's wife used to harass him mentally. She left the house after marriage and went to her maternal home. Though she was not living together, she kept demanding money from Gaurav. If Gaurav refused, she threatened to file a false case against him. Gaurav tolerated all this for some time, he thought that maybe one day everything will be fine. But they say that patience has a limit. When he did not have the courage to bear his wife's torture, Gaurav committed suicide.

Gaurav committed suicide on Tuesday. Before dying, he also left a suicide note in which he has expressed his pain. According to the family, Gaurav Kumar of Mausampur village of Anchoda Kamboh area consumed poisonous substance on Sunday, after which his condition deteriorated. After which he was admitted to the hospital. But he died during treatment. At the same time, the police said that on the basis of the complaint of Gaurav's father Krishnapal Singh, an FIR has been registered against his wife Priya, his mother and brother and investigation of the case has been started.

Father Krishan Pal alleged that his son had married Priya, a resident of Alinagar in Sonakpur in Moradabad district, a year ago. Soon after, a dispute started between Gaurav, his wife and her parents. He claimed that Priya eventually left her marital home and returned to her parents. After this, she demanded money from Gaurav and threatened to file a case of dowry harassment if the demands were not met. However, in the meantime, despite several attempts at reconciliation, Priya refused to return home. Due to which his son suffered a lot of mental distress. On the day of the incident, Gaurav had written a suicide note before consuming poison.

Circle Officer (CO) Kuldeep Kumar of Asmoli said that initial investigations suggest that the suicide was a result of domestic discord. He said that an FIR has been lodged against Priya and two others under Section 108 (abetment to suicide) of the Indian Penal Code (BNS). However, investigation is being conducted to find out whether Gaurav wrote the suicide note or not.

Manav Sharma suicide case

This is not the first case. On 27 February, Agra's Manav Sharma also committed suicide in a similar way. IT company manager Manav Sharma made a video before committing suicide. Manav made serious allegations against his wife Nikita Sharma of having an affair with another man. On the morning of 28 February, this video went viral on social media. After seeing the video, Manav's wife Nikita fled from Baharan Mohalla on a bike with her father. Her mobile is also switched off. At present, her search is on.

Rajendra Pal suicide case

A similar case has come to light from Bareilly. Here on Sunday, a bank employee Rajendra Pal ended his life by consuming poison. The bank employee's wife was accused of forcing him to commit suicide. The case is from Bithri Chainpur police station area. The deceased bank employee's brother alleges that Bhabhi had an illicit relationship with another man, due to which Bhaiya was mentally disturbed. Apart from this, Bhabhi's lover also threatened Bhaiya. Saddened by Bhabhi's infidelity, Bhaiya committed suicide. A case has been registered against the deceased's wife and her lover and investigation has been started.

Atul Subhash suicide case

Atul Subhash of Bihar also committed suicide in Bangalore three months ago after being troubled by the torture of his wife Nikita Singhania and in-laws. He left a 24-page suicide note. He also made a 90-minute video and posted it on social media. Atul's wife, mother-in-law and brother-in-law were arrested in this case. The case is still going on in the court.
