Kota. Meghraj, a boy from Satalkhedi village in the Kota district of Rajasthan, became the reason for the happiness of the entire village by meeting his family after 15 years. This reunion was no less than a film story.

How did Meghraj get separated?

In 2009, when Meghraj was just 6 years old, he was collecting disposables with his brother at Ramganj Mandi railway station. During this time, scared of a scolding from a policeman, he hid in a train. This train took him from Kota to Telangana, and from here his life took a new turn. This incident was a new beginning for Meghraj because after this he got separated from his family. The family started searching for him but to no avail.

The journey of 15 years ended with Operation 'Harsh' and the hard work of the Kota Police

Under the special operation 'Harsh' of Kota Police, Meghraj was handed over to his family from Telangana after 15 years. Meghraj boarded a train while watching a fair and slowly reached Hyderabad via Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra. There, the local police caught him at Kachiguda station and took information from the boy. However, Meghraj could not give the correct information due to his language and the police assumed him to be from Bihar. He was searched for a long time in Bihar, but when no clue was found, he was sent to an ashram.
