Heavy rain may occur in these 4 states till January 13, IMD gave this information!


According to the recent forecast of the India Meteorological Department, four states of Odisha, Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Chhattisgarh are likely to receive heavy rains from January 11 to 13.


"Odisha, Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Chhattisgarh will receive heavy rains due to a western disturbance, and a yellow alert has been declared for January 11-13," the India Meteorological Department said on Sunday.
The IMD has also issued an orange alert for rain in Odisha on January 11 and 12. There may be a hailstorm in Chhattisgarh, Odisha, and Jharkhand on January 11.
Due to the intense Western Disturbance over North India, Punjab and Delhi received light to heavy rain and snow over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.

IMD scientist Dr. RK Jenamani said that from January 10, the rain is likely to stop in Delhi and the temperature will drop.


The India Meteorological Department has predicted that on January 9, many areas of Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) will receive thunderstorms with heavy rains.

Rain and thundershowers are very likely to continue over Central India from January 9 to 13 and over East India from January 11-13.
"Very widespread rainfall is very likely to occur over Bihar, West Bengal, and Sikkim and Odisha during January 11-13 and over Jharkhand during January 10-13," the IMD said.
