The director wanted to change his image.

The actress further says, 'Who is losing in all this? Me. I have not done any work for a long time. Last year also, a director from Kolkata offered me a film, but I refused it for the same reason. I felt that the director wanted to improve his image by using me.'

Tanushree Dutta said, 'Why did he come to me? He thought that it had been a long time since Me Too. Now if he casts me in his film, people will think that I am on his side. I refused the film. I also took advice from my dad so that I could understand things better.' The actress says that she raised her voice when she needed work the most and she hopes that other people can also support the right.
