He became a murderer after watching Crime Patrol, and hatched such a horrific conspiracy that even the police were shocked!

A doctor from Baghpat faked his own death to escape from debt. He killed a young man and burnt him in his car. Police arrested him based on CCTV footage and information from an informer.

The plan made by Unani doctor Mubarik of Baghpat to avoid paying his debt is no less than a thriller film. Mubarak, who was under the burden of debt, killed an innocent young man to stage a drama of his own death. For this conspiracy, he watched an episode of Crime Patrol ten times. Then he chose a young man of his own stature and burnt him alive in a car.

The beginning of the conspiracy: an old car and a plan

The doctor bought a used Maruti 800 for Rs 26,000 a month ago. The plan was so solid that he found a young man named Sonu who looked like him. Sonu, who worked in the doctor's brother-in-law's factory, matched Mubarik's height and physique. The doctor befriended Sonu and trapped him in his trap.

The night of the incident: alcohol, drugs and fire

On the night of December 22, Dr Mubarik called Sonu to a dhaba. After making him unconscious with alcohol and intoxicating pills, he took him to the canal. He poured petrol into the car, set it on fire and fled. But a mistake in the plan led to his arrest.

Got 'inspiration' from debt and crime petrol

Mubarik had taken a loan of two cars, two bikes and lakhs of rupees. To escape from the loan, he planned to prove himself dead. This dangerous idea came from an episode of Crime Patrol. He thought that after his death was proven, the insurance and loan money would go to his wife.

Police investigation and arrest

Police examined more than 60 CCTV footage of the crime scene. On Friday, when Mubarak reached the crime scene to see the burnt car, police arrested him on the information of an informer. He confessed everything during interrogation. SP City Abhimanyu Mangalik said that Mubarik's plan was that after his death was proven, his wife would repay the debt from the insurance and loan money. But his dreadful conspiracy landed him behind bars.
