But what to do if an Aadhaar Enrollment ID (EID) is lost?

An online facility provided by the Unique Identification Authority of India enables one to retrieve it. An EID is a unique identification number that is issued for Aadhaar enrollment at the time of registration. This number is used to track someone. Users can retrieve a lost EID or Aadhaar number online through the UIDAI website - uidai.gov.in - or through the mobile app mAadhaar.
