Who is responsible for the Hathras incident, what arrangements were made? The SIT formed by the UP government has found the answers to these questions. The report has been submitted to the Home Department after completing the investigation with the statements of 150 people. This report will be given to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today (Tuesday) morning. The CM will discuss this report with senior officers.

A week ago, on Tuesday, June 2, 121 people died after a stampede broke out during a satsang of Narayan Sakar Vishwa Hari in Fullerai village of Sikandrarao tehsil of Hathras district. The UP government had formed an SIT to investigate the accident. The SIT has recorded the statements of 150 people, including the DM and SP of Hathras, in its 300-page investigation report.

Who has what role, who is responsible?

The SIT investigation report describes in detail how the stampede happened, what were the arrangements, who played what role and who is responsible for the incident. All these things are mentioned in this report. Agra ADG Anupama Kulshreshtha and Aligarh Divisional Commissioner Chaitra V have prepared this report. It is believed that some action can be taken on the basis of this report. However, CM Yogi Adityanath has already held the sevadars responsible for this incident. He has also been suspecting a conspiracy.

Action may fall on officers

According to sources, after examining the report, action can be taken against the officers and employees found guilty. The local administration may face action for not making adequate arrangements for crowd management. Compliance with the conditions of the event has also been investigated. The report shows the responsibility of the local administration as to why the administration did not make or get arrangements done according to the crowd despite such a huge crowd. At present, there is no mention of any mistake of Bhole Baba in the report.

Baba's lawyer had made this claim

Narayan Sakar Vishwa Hari alias Bhole Baba is absconding since the Hathras incident. His lawyer AP Singh has claimed that on the day of the incident, some miscreants had sprayed poisonous substance on the crowd of devotees, due to which the incident happened. At the same time, it was said in the initial case that after the end of the satsang, suddenly a crowd of devotees had rushed behind the convoy of Narayan Sakar Vishwa Hari to take the dust from his feet, after which the incident happened.

Baba is believed to be God

After the Hathras incident, many miraculous claims of Narayan Saakar Vishwa Hari alias Bhole Baba also came to light. His followers give him the title of God. The dust of his feet and the water received as prasad in satsang are considered miraculous. The largest number of followers of Baba are women. Most of those killed in the Hathras incident were women.
