When the woman returned to her husband after a week, the villagers gave Taliban punishment to the woman as well as her husband. The villagers made the woman and her husband half-naked, made them wear a garland of slippers, and paraded them around the village with drums. During this, the woman's hair was also cut. The video of parading the two in the village is now going viral. In the video, it can be seen that some women in the village are cutting the woman's hair and taking off her sari.

The case is from Tarakura village of Jhajha police station area of ​​Jamui district. It is being told that the woman had fled with her lover a week ago. Late on Monday evening, the woman returned to her husband. When the villagers came to know about this, they held a meeting in the village and decided that the woman, her husband, and her lover should be made to wear a garland of slippers and paraded half naked around the village.

The woman's lover fled

As soon as the villagers got wind of the decision, the lover Kedar Mandal absconded, after which on Monday night the villagers made the woman and her husband half naked, made them wear a garland of slippers, and paraded them around the village with drums. The villagers said that both the woman and her lover were married. They have three children each, yet they eloped with each other due to their love affair.

Police registered an FIR against 12 people

When both of them returned after seven days, the villagers started protesting. Here, the villagers said that these people have done the work of spoiling the society. That is why this punishment has been given. In this regard, Jhajha police station in-charge Sanjay Singh said that the incident has been reported. FIR has been registered against 12 people on the application of the victim. Police are engaged in further action.
