PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana is currently being run by the Narendra Modi government at the Centre. Through this scheme, people doing their own work are given financial assistance from the government. 

Under this scheme of the Central Government, people are given financial assistance of Rs 15,000 to buy tools. A stipend of Rs 500 is also given daily. Under the scheme, people can get a loan of Rs 1 to 2 lakh.
