This scheme is being run by the government for the poor people. It is seen that poor people are not able to take any kind of insurance. For this, they have to take the help of government schemes. This insurance scheme of the Central Government can prove to be very helpful for these people.

The special thing about this scheme is that there is no medical test of any kind to take the policy. Any person between 18 years to 55 years can take this insurance by giving information about some diseases in the consent form. The policy of Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana is valid from 1st June to 31st.
