In January, preparations are being made to transfer Rs 5000 instead of Rs 2500 to the bank accounts of 56 lakh beneficiaries. On January 6, Chief Minister Hemant Soren will transfer the amount to the accounts of the beneficiaries of the Maiya Samman Yojana at the Namkum Khoja Toli ceremony in Ranchi. About three lakh women from various districts across the state are expected to reach Ranchi for the ceremony.

For Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Mania Samman Yojana, the Women and Child Development and Social Security Department has already provided funds to all the districts. The social security cell of the district has also made full preparations to transfer the amount. As a test, the amount was transferred to the accounts of 100-200 women in all the districts on 26-27 December. The amount to be given on 6 January will be for December. While a few days after this, the amount for January will also be sent to the bank account.
56 lakh women will get the next instalment on January 11
According to the information received from the Women and Child Development Department, the amount of the December instalment will be transferred to the bank account at the Mania Samman ceremony organized at Khojatoli in Namkum, Ranchi on January 6. At the same time, Rs 2500 can be transferred to the account of the beneficiaries of the Mania Samman for the month of January on January 11.
The program was postponed due to national mourning
After taking oath as the Chief Minister, Hemant Soren had approved in his first cabinet meeting to increase the amount of the scheme from Rs 1000 to Rs 2500. On December 28, the Chief Minister was going to hold a ceremony regarding the Meniya Samman Yojana, but it was postponed due to the seven-day state mourning in the state after the death of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Now this ceremony will be held on January 6 at Khoja Toli ground in Namkum. The Chief Minister will inaugurate the Samman ceremony at 1 pm.
