Here a fraudster extorted Rs 2 lakh 40 thousand from a woman in the name of getting her a job. The fraudster used to meet the victim wearing a police uniform. A case of fraud was already registered against him in the police.

The police have arrested the accused. The case is from the Dullhapur area of ​​the district. According to the police, a man wearing a police uniform deceived the victim woman by promising her a job. He extorted Rs 240000 from her in the name of police recruitment. When the victim felt that she had been cheated, she filed a case at the police station. In this case, the police had arrested the accused a day earlier during vehicle checking at the Ghazipur-Mau border.

According to the Dullahpur police, on September 15, a woman accused a youth named Virendra of cheating her of money by wearing a police uniform in the name of police recruitment. On which the local police had registered a case against Virendra Yadav under sections 419, 420, 406, 504, 506, and 389. Based on this case, the police were conducting a checking campaign near Sarsena, the border of Ghazipur-Mau. During this time, the police noticed Virendra Yadav and immediately arrested him.

The victim woman told the police in her complaint that Virendra Yadav used to wear police uniform and introduce himself as a constable of Jalalabad police post under Dullhapur police station. He deceived her by promising her a job. The victim said that the accused used to come in front of her wearing a police uniform.

After which the woman, believing him, gave him money in the name of a job. When nothing happened for a long time, the woman started asking for her money back. After this, he kept harassing the woman by giving false assurances. When the victim repeatedly put pressure on him, he started threatening and harassing her. The woman complained to the police station and filed a case against Virendra Yadav.
