Deoghar News: Getting married amid severe cold and cold waves in Ghoramara, situated in the Mohanpur block area of the district, proved costly for a young man. Due to the cold, his marriage broke before it could take place. The people on the groom's side were residents of Ghoramara. A boy named Arnaav was to be married to a girl named Ankita. With the consent of both the parties, the wedding ceremony was going on with great pomp in a private garden complex. All the rituals were getting completed with time.
A pavilion was built under the open sky
First of all, there was a program of meetings from both the families. After that, a stage was made for Varmala under the open sky. The Varmala ceremony took place on it. Then everyone reached the wedding pavilion. The wedding pavilion was also made under the open sky. After Varmala and food, the bride and groom also sat in the pavilion.
The groom started shivering from the cold and fell unconscious
The Pandit started the wedding rituals. Meanwhile, the groom started shivering from the cold and suddenly fainted. The groom's body became cold. In a hurry, the family took the groom to the room and started massaging his hands and feet. During this, the local doctor was also called. Saline and injections were given to the groom to give him relief from the cold. After about one to one and a half hours, the groom's condition became normal.
The groom suspects illness
The groom agreed to sit in the mandap again, but the bride flatly refused to take the rounds. The bride said that the boy has some disease, so she will not marry. The bride's suspicion increased further because usually, the groom's side takes the baraat from their house to the bride's house, but in this wedding, the bride's side was called to the groom's house and the wedding was taking place in a private garden.
The marriage did not take place even after the police explained
The dispute between the two parties escalated and it was 5 in the morning. The matter was reported to the Mohanpur police station. As soon as the information was received, Mohanpur police station in-charge Priyaranjan Kumar reached there with the force. The police explained to both parties, but no consensus could be reached. When the matter was not resolved till 8 in the morning, finally the groom's side returned empty-handed with the wedding procession. The bride's side returned to their home in Bhagalpur (Bihar).
Cancellation of marriage by consent of the parties
Meanwhile, police station in-charge Priyaranjan Kumar said that the wedding was taking place in a private garden complex. The garland and mandap were made in the open sky. The groom fainted in the wedding mandap itself. The groom became normal after treatment in a room in the complex itself. As soon as the groom sat in the wedding mandap again, the bride refused to marry. The marriage was cancelled with the consent of both the parties. Both the parties returned to their respective homes.
