Congress Parliamentary Party President Sonia Gandhi will inaugurate the new Congress headquarters at Indira Bhawan 9-A Kotla Road on the morning of January 15. The program will start at 9:30 am. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, and many other leaders will be present in it. Ground floor: On the left side - a big high-tech press conference room has been built. In the middle is the reception in half C shape. Right behind it is the canteen. On the right side is the office of the media in-charge. Next to it are small sound proof chambers for TV debates. Right next to it is the sitting room for journalists.

On the lines of the old office at 24 Akbar Road, the media is not allowed to go anywhere without permission. There will be a high-tech access card to go above the ground floor. In such a situation, permission to go will be given only after getting an appointment first.

First Floor : On the left side, a large hi-tech auditorium has been built for special programs. Along with this, there are offices of the heads of departments like Farmer Department, Data Department, and 18 rooms.

Second Floor : 24 rooms have been made for the national secretaries. Each room will be divided into four parts and 4 secretaries will be accommodated in one room.

Third Floor : 18 rooms have been prepared for officers with independent charge.

Fourth Floor : 12 large rooms have been made as offices for the party general secretaries including the organization general secretary and the treasurer.

Fifth Floor : There are three big offices of former Congress President Sonia Gandhi, President Mallikarjun Kharge and former President Rahul Gandhi. A lobby has been built in the middle of every floor, which will be used as a waiting space.

According to sources, the history of Congress has been engraved through photographs in the entire building. These photographs also include those of leaders who had differences with the Gandhi family and who left the Congress. These include leaders like Narasimha Rao, Sitaram Kesari, Pranab Mukherjee and Ghulam Nabi Azad.

Sources say that Priyanka Gandhi has designed the new office. Priyanka Gandhi has played a major role in finalizing the design of the office along with the architect. Priyanka herself has chosen everything from finalizing the map to the paint, pictures, curtains and furniture.
