According to the information, the girl is a resident of Veer Kunwar Singh Colony of the city and studies in the city's Girls Middle School. While the accused Kishore is a resident of Kharagpur. When both of them started talking on social media, the accused youth fell in one-sided love. When he expressed his love to the girl and pressured her to talk to him, the girl refused. After this, the one-sided lover attacked the girl with knives in public. The accused made three attacks on the girl's body including her neck. After this, she called Dial 112 and informed the police about it.

Police engaged in investigation.

The police reached the spot and immediately took the injured student to the hospital. After this incident, the police took the accused youth under judicial protection and interrogated him. On the second day of this incident, the student's mother filed a complaint by giving a written application to Sadar police station. Information about this has been given by issuing a press release from the office of the Superintendent of Police, in which it has been said that the police have started action in the case by registering an FIR on the basis of the written statement of the student's mother.
