The mother of the deceased girl said that she had a court marriage with a young man named Jitendra under the Naata tradition one and a half months ago. Before this marriage, the woman had a 13-month-old daughter, whom Jitendra used to constantly harass. According to the mother, Jitendra had beaten the girl on Monday night. When the girl did not wake up the next morning, she was taken to JK Lon Hospital, where doctors declared her dead.

Injury marks on the body of the girl: During the investigation of the case, deep wounds were found on the body of the girl. Police have got the post-mortem of the girl done by a medical board. Based on the mother's statement police have registered a case of murder against Jitendra. Search for the accused is on. Keeping in view the seriousness of the incident, the Additional Superintendent of Police Kaluram visited the spot. A police team has raided several places to arrest Jitendra. At present, the accused is absconding, but police are claiming to catch him soon.
