Election Commission officials checked Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's helicopter in Tamil Nadu on Monday (April 15, 2024). Commission's flying squad officers conducted an investigation in Nilgiri district.

A video has surfaced in which Election Commission officials are seen arriving and searching as soon as the helicopter lands. After some time, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi gets off the plane.

Rahul Gandhi had planned to travel from Tamil Nadu to Kerala to campaign for Congress during the Lok Sabha elections. He was scheduled to campaign for the party there for four days.

What is Rahul Gandhi's schedule?

According to news agency IANS, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will reach Kozhikode on Monday (April 15, 2024), where he will address an election rally. He will visit Wayanad on Tuesday (April 16, 2024). After this, he will campaign in Kannur, Palakkad and Kottayam on Thursday. He will also visit Thrissur, Thiruvananthapuram and Alappuzha.

Voting for 20 Lok Sabha seats in the state will be held on April 26. This time too Rahul Gandhi is contesting the Lok Sabha elections from the Wayanad seat of Kerala. In the 2019 elections, Rahul Gandhi contested from Wayanad and Amethi but lost to BJP's Smriti Irani in Amethi. This time Irani is again contesting elections from Amethi.
