In a shocking incident, a married woman left her husband to live with her Instagram lover in Bikaner, Rajasthan. The woman alleges that her husband tortured her, forcing her to take this step.

Bikaner (Rajasthan). Nirmala, a 20-year-old married woman from Jasrasar village in Bikaner district, has decided to leave her husband and live in a live-in relationship with a young man. This young man works as a puncture repairer, and both of them became friends on Instagram. Nirmala alleges that she was mentally and physically tortured by her husband, due to which she took this step.

She left her husband because of his bad habit

Nirmala, a resident of a village in Lunkaransar, said that she was married in 2015, but due to her husband's habit of drinking and beating her, she was living at her maternal home for the last three years. In January 2024, she again tried to go to her in-laws' house, but the situation did not change there either.

She took cash and jewelry worth Rs 5 lakh with her

On September 9, Nirmala fled from her in-laws' house with her four-year-old daughter to join her lover Sunil. The two first spent three days in Kotputli and then headed towards Delhi. Nirmala's family filed a false case against her at Jasrasar police station, accusing her of stealing Rs 60,000 and jewellery worth around Rs 5 lakh.

Lover is facing the threat of death

Nirmala says that she did not take any jewellery with her and the allegations levelled by her in-laws are baseless. She has sought protection from the Churu SP's office as she and her lover feel threatened. Nirmala clarified that she is living with Sunil of her own free will and wants to live in peace.
