Double murder in Patna: Jaimala inside, gunshots outside… groom's brother and brother-in-law gunned down
Two people were shot dead at a wedding ceremony in Danapur, Patna. The deceased include the groom's brother and brother-in-law. The miscreants entered the marriage hall and fired bullets indiscriminately. The police have sent the bodies of the deceased for post-mortem.

In a wedding ceremony in Patna, the capital of Bihar, miscreants opened fire and killed the groom's brother and brother-in-law. The garland ceremony was going on when the incident took place. After the incident, there was chaos in the marriage hall. On receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot. Cartridge shells have been recovered from the spot. After the incident, the happiness of the wedding turned into mourning. Both the parties returned without getting married. The police have registered a case and started searching for the accused.
Last night, a wedding ceremony was going on in Khagaul area of Danapur, Patna. Meanwhile, some people forcibly entered the wedding procession and started creating a ruckus. Suddenly they started firing. In the continuous firing, the groom's brother-in-law and brother got shot. Due to which they were seriously injured. They died while being taken to the hospital.
The wedding procession had come from Jamui district
The wedding procession came from Malaipur in Jamui district, while the bride's side is from Buxar district. The deceased include groom Amit's elder brother Golden Singh Shailendra and brother-in-law Sarvendu Kumar Singh, a resident of Ara. Police reached the spot after getting information about the firing incident. Police have recovered six bullet shells from the spot.
The accused who shot were part of the wedding procession
The police officer investigating the case said that two persons were shot near Rudra Marriage Hall in Cantt at around 1:30 am in Khagaul area of Danapur. Both died while being taken to the hospital. The names of the deceased are Sarvendu Kumar Singh and Golden Singh. People from the boy's side had come from Jamui district. While the bride's side had come from Buxar district. The accused who shot were also part of the wedding procession. The accused have been identified. Raids are being conducted to catch them.
