Disclosure in the Hardoi Durgiyana Express blast case, electric wire hit the engine and a blast happened.

In the Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh, a blast occurred due to a short circuit after a train engine collided with an overhead electricity line. Due to this incident, the Hardoi-Lucknow rail route was disrupted. According to the railways, about 7 trains were affected due to the incident. After receiving the information, railway administration officials reached the spot. They got the broken wire repaired. Train operations have started on the railway line. After this sudden incident, the railways have stressed the need to increase security arrangements further.

The accident happened when the Durgiana Express (12357) from Kolkata to Amritsar collided with the OHE wire. According to railway sources, the Durgiana Express was passing on the low line between Umar Tali Dalel Nagar. Then the train's engine collided with the broken OHE wire and a loud explosion occurred. After the incident, trains on the Lucknow Hardoi railway route were short terminated.

Seven trains were affected due to this accident. After getting information about the incident, the railway team reached the spot. After inspection, the broken wire has been repaired. However, traffic is slowly becoming normal. But in the meantime, many trains have been diverted through other routes. According to railway sources, due to the wire breakage on the up track, many trains passing on the down track have been affected. Lucknow Mail passing through Hardoi has passed much later than the scheduled time. Chandigarh-Lucknow Express also passed with a delay of more than one and a half hours. After the incident, many trains have also been diverted through other routes.

According to the RPF and GRP administration, patrolling is done for security around the railway line. But given the recent incidents, work is going on to further strengthen the security system. All the teams have been instructed. Alert is issued regarding security arrangements. Vigilance has been increased in the area where the incident of wire breakage has happened.
