The villagers are saying that the number of remaining wolves is more. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered to shoot the man-eating wolves if needed.
To free people from the dreaded wolves, the forest department team has now taken the final position. According to the forest department official, a team of nine shooters has been deployed in the areas affected by man-eating wolves, out of which 6 shooters are from the forest department and 3 are from the police department. The forest department has divided the affected area into three large parts. One special team has been formed in each of these and 3 shooters have been kept in each. Also, one team has been kept in reserve.
The forest department official said that teams are engaged to catch the wolves. Their main job is to identify the man-eating wolves and get rid of them as soon as possible. He said that the first effort of the team is that as soon as a man-eating wolf is seen, it should be caught and caged and then sent to a zoo. He said that if needed, it should be shot. Wolves should not be allowed to live in the forests under any circumstances.
The maximum terror of wolves is in the Mahsi tehsil area of Bahraich. Here wolves have attacked and killed 8 people including 7 children and injured 36 people. Two days ago also a man-eating wolf had attacked a 5-year-old innocent girl. Hearing the noise of the villagers, the wolf injured the girl and ran away.
