What is DDA Housing Scheme 2025 ?
Under this new housing scheme of the Delhi Development Authority, a total of 34,000 flats are being offered at prime locations like Ramgarh Colony, Loknayak Puram, Rohini Saraspur, and Narela. It mainly includes two categories - EWS (Economically Weaker Section) and LIG (Low-Income Group) flats, whose prices start from Rs 11.54 lakh. The starting prices of bigger flats (MIG and HIG) in this scheme are Rs 29 lakh and above respectively, and a total of 5,400 flats are available in this category.
Book till 31 March 2025
The booking process of this scheme has started from 11 September 2024 and will continue till 31 March 2025. In this housing scheme of DDA, the rule of 'first come, first serve' is applicable for booking flats. Under this, any interested buyer gets a chance to book a flat at his convenience.
Booking amount and registration details
For the booking of flats, different booking amounts have been fixed for different categories:
- EWS flats: Rs 50,000
- LIG flats: Rs 1 lakh
- MIG flats: Rs 4 lakh
- HIG flats: Rs 10 lakh
The registration fee for these flats has been kept at Rs 2,500. Note that both the booking and registration amounts are non-refundable. That is, if you pay these amounts, then it cannot be taken back.
How to apply for cheap flats
To avail of this housing scheme, interested people can apply online by visiting the official website of DDA. All the necessary information and application process is given on the website. Aadhar card, PAN card and other KYC documents are required to apply.
