After committing the crime, the accused fled from the spot, but as soon as the police got information about the incident, they swung into action and caught him. According to the police, after necessary interrogation, the accused was presented in the court, from where he was sent to jail in judicial custody for 14 days. According to the police, the accused proposed to the girl several times, but every time the girl rebuked him. Since this time, the accused was angry.

Meanwhile, on Monday evening, he saw the girl sitting with another young man in a car parked near Omati Nagar police station. After this, the accused immediately ran and broke the glass of the car window and started attacking the girl. This entire incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed at the spot. This incident created a ruckus at the spot. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and immediately took the girl to the hospital, where the doctors declared her dead.

The accused was angry at her refusal to marry

After this, the police raided the place a few hours later and arrested the accused. According to the police, the accused was presented in the court after necessary interrogation on Tuesday morning, from where he was sent to jail in judicial custody. The police is investigating the matter. According to Jabalpur Crime Branch Additional SP Samar Verma, the girl was a resident of Naya Mohalla of Omti police station area. While the accused has been identified as Gurfan, a resident of Machhrahai. He told that the accused wanted to marry the minor girl, but the girl had rejected his proposal.
