RML Hospital News: CBI has taken major action in Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital of Delhi. The central agency has arrested 9 people on corruption charges. Two doctors are also among the arrested accused. CBI took shocking action on Wednesday by busting a big racket in RML Hospital. The arrested accused are accused of indulging in corruption by taking bribes from patients and medical representatives.

According to media reports, the Central Investigation Agency said that corruption was being done through five modules in RML Hospital. Let us tell you about all these five modules.

-Supply of stents and other medical requirements

-Supply of a particular brand of stent

-Supply of medical equipment to laboratories

-Admission of patients in exchange for a bribe

-Issue of fake medical certificates

Two doctors were also accused of corruption

The two arrested doctors have been identified as Parvatagowda, assistant professor of, the cardiology department, and Ajay Raj, professor of, the cardiology department. Both were working in RML Hospital and were allegedly caught taking bribes on different items.

The blame may fall on other people too

One of the seven others arrested has been identified as Rajneesh Kumar, senior laboratory in-charge at the central government-run hospital. The identity of the remaining accused has not been revealed yet. CBI has started investigating the case. If sources are to be believed, more people may be caught in the CBI action in the coming days.
