In Rajasthan, amidst the ongoing tussle between Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot, the murmur of the name of the new state president has intensified. If reports are to be believed, Rajasthan may get a new state president soon.

Such signals are also being received from in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa. Randhawa has even said that Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot are the only leaders, but I have other leaders in Rajasthan with whom I am in talks.

If sources are to be believed, the Congress is now in a mood to make such a leader the state president, who is neither close to CM Ashok Gehlot nor special to former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot. At this time, some leaders of the state have grown very close to Randhawa in charge. One of them is a cabinet minister and the other is a former cabinet minister.

On behalf of the Congress high command, the responsibility of the state president can be given to a leader of 45-55 years of age.
