Congress released the first list of candidates, names of many stalwarts including CM are there.
Assembly elections are to be held in Chhattisgarh in two phases next month. The first list of 30 candidates has been released by Congress for these elections. The first list of Congress includes the names of many stalwarts like Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Deputy Chief Minister T S Singhdev, Assembly Speaker Charandas Mahant and State Congress President Deepak Baij.
CM Bhupesh Baghel will contest from Patan. TS Singhdev has been given ticket from Ambikapur. Apart from these, Congress's candidates are Amarjeet Bhagat from Sitapur (SU), Umesh Patel from Kharsia, Jai Singh Aggarwal from Korba, Dr. Charan Das Mahant from Sakti, Dr. Shivkumar Dahria from Arang (SU), Anila Bhediya from Doundilohara (SU), Durg. Tamradhwaj Sahu from Rural, Ravindra Chaudhary from Saja, Guru Rudra Kumar from Navagarh (SU), Neelkanth Chandravanshi from Pandariya have been fielded.
Apart from these, Congress has declared many veterans as party candidates. This time assembly elections will be held in two phases for 90 seats of Chhattisgarh Assembly on 7th and 17th November.
