Congress may face a significant setback in Rajasthan ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. According to reports, many senior leaders from the state Congress are likely to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) together tomorrow.

The reported list of leaders considering the move includes Lalchand Kataria, Rajendra Yadav (a former minister in the Ashok Gehlot government), and former MLA Khiladi Lal Bairwa. These leaders are expected to join the BJP on Sunday in the presence of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and State President CP Joshi. Additionally, there are indications that former MLAs Rikshpal Mirdha and Vijaypal Mirdha may also join the BJP during this period.

Another noteworthy name mentioned is Alok Beniwal, who is speculated to take membership of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Rajendra Yadav was known to be close to former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, while Khiladi Lal Bairava had affiliations with former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot. If these leaders indeed join the BJP, it could constitute a significant blow to the Congress party.
