Chhattisgarh Elections 2023: Congress releases second list of 53 names, know who has got the ticket

Along with announcing the dates of assembly elections of five states, the party is also announcing the names of the candidates. Congress Party has released the second list of candidates in Chhattisgarh. 53 people have got tickets in this list. Besides, tickets of many candidates have also been cut. 

Let us tell you that assembly elections are to be held in two phases in the state. In Chhattisgarh, which has 90 assembly seats, the first phase of voting will be held on November 7 and the second phase of voting will be held on November 17. The results will come on December 3. Earlier, Congress had released the first list of 30 candidates.

The names of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Deputy Chief Minister T S Singhdev and some other senior leaders were included in the first list. Chief Minister Baghel is contesting the elections from his current assembly constituency Patan, where Bharatiya Janata Party candidate and his relative Vijay Baghel is challenging him.
