Central Government Holiday 2025 , Gazetted Holidays For 2025 Full List: As soon as the month of November-December arrives, all the employees and working professionals start worrying about the holidays of the next year. Everyone wants to know which holidays will be available next year and which holidays will be lost due to falling on Saturday-Sunday. The central and state governments release a complete calendar of holidays for their employees, so that they can plan their holidays. The Department of Personnel and Training, under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, has released a holiday calendar for the year 2025 for central employees.
A list of holidays has been released for employees. Apart from this list, another list has also been released. Employees in Delhi-New Delhi area can take any 2 holidays from this list in a year, while employees working at other places can take 3 restricted holidays. These are called restricted holidays.

Along with this, the government has also clarified that if any holiday falls during a weekly holiday or on a non-working day or more than one festival falls on the same day, then no second off will be given for it. The date of Eid ul Fitr, Eid ul Juha, Moharram and Eid-e-Milad is decided on the sighting of the moon. Any such change will also be made by the ministry.
